Part Two: Pressed but Not Crushed
This week, we continue our journey through Pressed but Not Crushed with Part Two of Mr. Gary Weeden’s message on transformational perseverance. Building on last week’s foundation, he turned to the rich metaphor of the vine and branches in John 15 to show us how true resilience isn't about striving harder, but about staying deeply connected to Christ.
Abiding in Him means more than belief; it means ongoing surrender, daily dependence, and intimate communion. In this abiding, we find not just survival, but spiritual sustenance, strength that flows from the Vine Himself. We also experience the reality of pruning. Though it may be painful, it is never purposeless. God's pruning shapes us to bear more fruit, while forming us more fully into Christ’s image.
This message calls us to examine our spiritual connection and embrace the refining process. In doing so, we don’t merely endure hardship; we are transformed through it, stay rooted in love, filled with peace that surpasses all understanding, and marked by joy.
